iOS 16.2 Release Date and Time in India

We’ve been anxiously awaiting the next iOS update, 16.2, for a few weeks now. So, this article will cover the release date and time of iOS 16.2 in India.

The current iOS version is 16.1.2. If you’re wondering whether you should update to iOS 16.1.2, my answer is yes. You should update to the latest version until we get iOS 16.2. But when will it be released? Let’s discuss it here.

When Does iOS 16.2 Come Out?

Update: iOS 16.2 has been released for all compatible iPhones on December 14, 2022, in India and all over the world.

As previously stated, many iPhone users are wondering when iOS 16.2 will be released, and the anticipation for the upcoming iOS update is understandable given that it aims to address many issues and bugs in the current iOS version.

For instance, iOS 16.2 will likely solve the battery drain issues that we face in iOS 16.1.1 and 16.1.2. With iOS 16.2, iPhones in India will support 5G. Since 5G has been launched by Airtel and Jio in India recently, all 5G-compatible iPhone models can take advantage of the fast internet speed rendered by the 5G network.

On November 30, 2022, iOS 16.1.2 was released, and a week later, on December 7, 2022, iOS 16.2 beta RC was available. So, iOS 16.2 will, in my opinion, be released between December 17 and December 21, 2022.

So, the release date of iOS 16.2 would be December 17, 2022, or December 21, 2022. The exact date and time of the next iOS 16 update haven’t been announced yet, but experts think it will come out in the middle of December.

Hence, I think on the above-mentioned dates, we will get the new software update on our iPhones.
