This is just a hoax or rumor since there is no announcement from Apple that claims the iPhone 7 Plus can be updated to the latest iOS. Many users may have assumed that because the iPhone 7 Plus is the premium model in the iPhone 7 series and has hardware similar to the iPhone 8, it could be updated to iOS 16.
