The battery percentage is back with iOS 16. Yes, now you can choose to turn on and off the battery percentage on your iPhone.
However, this function is disabled by default in iOS 16. This means you will have to enable it in the settings. So, if you are confused about why the battery percentage is not showing up in iOS 16, here’s a quick guide:
1. Open the “Settings” app.
2. Scroll down and tap “Battery.”
3. Turn on the toggle next to “Battery Percentage.”
Setting => Battery => Enable Battery Percentage
Now you will see the battery percentage in the battery icon on your iPhone. Before Apple revoked this feature, it used to display next to the battery icon; however, as of iOS 16, it is now displayed within the icon itself.
